365 Day Penny Challenge

Find yourself being stuck for cash for Christmas presents? or struggle through the Christmas period? Why not try the 365 day penny challenge. I'm sure you've all heard about it by now..

Start day 1 of the year saving 0.01p, day 2 saving 0.02p, etc, etc. you'll eventually get to day 366 (it's a leap year!!) and be saving £3.66. Don't worry if you haven't started yet, there's not much to catch up with!!

Or...how about an alternative method? Not sure you can save that much in December? £3.50 one day, £3.51 the next day. How about starting off the year saving £3.66, then £3.65, and so on! You'll get down to the odd pennies in December. Or.. why not be completely random? 0.50p one day, £1.28 the next! Do it how you like, just print off a spreadsheet and tick off the amounts you've put in. By the end of the year you'll have a whopping £671.61.
